Help Us Collect Stories for Report to the Legislature

PAR was recently contacted by the Legislative Budget and Finance Committee (LBFC) to collect data that will help them complete a report to the General Assembly on disruptions and waiting lists within the Department of Human Services.  House Resolution 165 tasked the LBFC to study and review the effect of workforce shortages on waiver based services. The LBFC is asking for stories from individuals and families about services through the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP).

This is an important opportunity for stories to be shared with the House of Representatives, highlighting the continued need for investments in the system. The LBFC will compile these stories in their report and presentation to the House, and it is something that PAR and others will be able to reference in our advocacy efforts moving forward.
